By this point you should have been in contact with a lawyer who will represent you during this transaction. Your lawyer will draw up a sales contract that will be presented to the buyers lawyer.
Any restrictive covenants or easements will be addressed in this contract. The buyers lawyer will likely do a title search to determine the rightful owner of the property as well as determine if there are any liens against the property. Your lawyer will initiate the transfer of sale of your property on your behalf.
